The London Eye

Urban Yoga Week - raising awareness about yoga in London - and what better way, than to do yoga in a key london landmark such as the London Eye.  About 250 people showed up for the event. A teacher in each pod with six students. A positive buzz surrounded the whole event.  London looked at it’s best, bathed in sunshine.....truly a perfect day for the event.

Each pod lazily turned at a steady pace enabling teachers from all different styles (ashtanga, vini-yoga, kundalini, iyengar) to guide students through a half hour class.  Amazing sites to see.... Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, St. Pauls, Tate Modern... impressive vistas from all angles.  Having never been on the Eye before I was suitably excited, and to do yoga whilst drifting over the London Skyline was pretty cool it has to be said.  A great opportunity to meet and chat with interesting people.

All in all, a fabulous morning which brought people together and contributed to a good cause, the special yoga centre.

Thank you to Marisa for the photo.
