Climate Change March
25,000 people......politics students, families, hippies, communists, socially conscious individuals.... all gathered outside the US embassy to show their support for the ‘Stop Climate Change Coalition’.
The day kicked off with apposite speakers including George Monbiot, global current affairs pundit, and Caroline Lucas, the Green Party Euro-MP for South East England, who spoke about climate change: its causes and consequences.
We then marched through London from the embassy to Trafalgar Square where a huge stage hosted an afternoon of music and topical speaches.
